Competition Committee

Every now and then STUGG organizes one of the student gymnastics competitions in Groningen. These competitions are part of the Dutch Student Gymnastics Federation (Nederlandse Studenten Turn Bond; NSTB). All Dutch student gymnastics associations take part in these competitions. During the competition, serious gymnastics is being done, but there is also room for a lot of fun. For example, sometimes women can be seen performing the rings, men walk across the beam and it is not uncommon for someone to perform their floor routine in a costume.

The Competition Committee of STUGG makes sure that the whole weekend is planned and that everything runs smoothly. This means that the Competition Committee organizes the competition itself, but also dinner after the competition, a great party and a place to sleep for gymnasts from all over the country.
