Kroeg van Klaas
The popular musical and other activities have been attracting people from the city and surrounding area to the Kroeg van Klaas for over 40 years. With weekly live music nights on Saturdays, the Open Stage, The Poetry Club, The Meindert & Igor & De Jonge Boschfazant & Kesanova show, the listening concerts, the pub quiz, the pop quiz, the swinging African jam sessions, the Theme Nights, The Song Club, and the Klaverjas Club Cum Laude, the Kroeg van Klaas has a program for "something for everyone." A program packed full of Groningen culture.
Since January 1, 2018, Marleen Vermooten (former owner of Café Marleen) has taken over running the pub from Fokke de Boer, who managed it for 30 years. Familiar face and fantastic bartender Wouter is still a mainstay behind the bar. An excellent pool table and two dart boards in the back room complete the pub.

Construction Physiotherapy
A sports career in professional basketball, combined with countless injuries and rehabilitation processes, was the inspiration for us (Krum Toshev and Joeval Benjamins) to start working as healthcare providers for athletes.
In addition to our physiotherapy education, completed in 2004 and 2005, we have specialized through several additional courses in diagnosing (sports) injuries and the associated recovery process.
Our practice in the heart of Groningen is fully equipped to support you from diagnosis all the way to rehabilitation. If there’s something we don’t know, we’re happy to refer you to our wide network of specialists. In short, the patient is our priority.
Visit the Construction Fysiotherapie website for more information.
